Joomla 4 Demo (German) - test it now
The release of Joomla 4 is moving further into focus with Alpha 11.
In addition to several new features, Joomla! 4 offers a clean and high-performance code base that follows web development best practices.
The alpha status is not yet intended for production use - however, it is already worth taking a look at the new backend and the new default frontend template 'Cassiopeia'.

Our Joomla! 4 demo installation was discontinued on 19.02.2022.

Joomla 4 can be installed in any standard web hosting package.

Joomla 4 in German
A final German language pack for Joomla 4 is not yet available - however, J!German has already published an alpha version of the German language files. By the official release, Joomla 4.0 will of course be fully available in German without any gaps.
The Joomla test installation already comes with the German language pack.

Release date - when is Joomla 4 coming?
Joomla 4.0 is currently still in alpha status. It is not yet known when the stable version will be released.
